IV International Conference in Honor of O.V. Pogorelov to Be Held in March 2026

V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, together with the Kharkiv Academy of Continuing Education, the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, the Academy of Teaching, and the Department of Higher Mathematics and Informatics, announces the IV International Conference “Problems of Teaching Mathematics in Educational Institutions: Theory, Methodology, Practice”, dedicated to the memory of O. V. Pogorelov.

The conference will take place on March 23–25, 2026 and will bring together researchers, university lecturers, and mathematics teachers to discuss current challenges and перспективні напрямки розвитку mathematics education at all levels.

This event continues a strong academic tradition: similar conferences were successfully held in 2019, 2021, and 2024, with active participation from scholars and mathematics teachers of general secondary education institutions.

The Organizing Committee invites colleagues to take part in the conference and to share this information within their professional communities.

Meeting of master students majoring in 014.04 Secondary Education (Mathematics)

On 30.05.2024, a meeting of master's students majoring in 014.04 Secondary Education (Mathematics) of full-time and part-time forms of study was held to choose a topic for a master's qualification work and a supervisor. Each lecturer of the department briefly outlined his or her research area and proposed a list of topics for final qualification works. Master students had the opportunity to ask questions and participate in the discussion.
